Discovery Fusion BBQ promises a new barbecue spot in San Jose. The new restaurant will take over the former Soupterra space at 1151 S. De Anza Blvd, in the shopping center anchored by H Mart San Jose De Anza. Discovery Fusion BBQ will be joining a host of nearby Asian dining options such as Sogongdong Tofu Town, The Hambak, Demiya, and 85°C Bakery Cafe.
The new restaurant is owned by Cheng Lu, who confirmed with What Now San Francisco this week that they should be ready to open this fall. Lu was unable to disclose any further details at the time, but said that planning and buildout should be completed within five to six months.
In the meantime, Lu has applied for Discovery Fusion BBQ’s beer and wine license, so it’s highly probable that the drink menu will include these options. We will post updates with more information if they are obtained. Stay tuned.
