A new dining concept called Urban Kitchen has something stirring in Burlingame. The business has a pending beer and wine license for 1152 Burlingame Ave. in the city’s downtown district, where Lemonade and Super Duper were once tenants.

According to the pending ABC license, Urban Kitchen is brought to us by “Farm to Table LLC.” Representatives for the organization could not be reached for comment. Based on the name, however, we suspect that this new restaurant will be serving up a menu chock-full of fresh from the farm ingredients that are sourced locally.

Locals were enthused to dine at this location when it was known as Lemonade. The chain is known for serving fresh, healthy salads, sandwiches, bowls, and other heartier menu items, plus their selection of fresh lemonades. It seems the establishment didn’t last past the first year of the pandemic, so hopefully Urban Kitchen will be the perfect replacement in terms of of healthy dining options.
