Calafia is one of the newest restaurants scheduled to debut in Livermore this year. The business recently applied for a beer and wine license at 1502 N. Vasco Road at the Vasco Plaza shopping center anchored by 88 Seafood Supermarket.

Owner Angel Garcia tells What Now San Francisco that he anticipates opening in August, if all goes according to plan. Aside from its debut, Garcia was tightlipped about what Calafia will offer in terms of the menu. Details on that are forthcoming.

The space at this address was formerly a Starbucks location that is marked as temporarily closed on Yelp. Calafia would be joining a host of local international restaurants such as Tequila’s Taqueria, Sangeetha Indian Restaurant, OvAsians Vietnamese restaurant, and an Izakaya spot called Kiseki.
