Roses on Adeline Bar & Kitchen will debut at 3218 Adeline Street in Berkeley. The space was formerly home to Nick’s Lounge, and eateries in the vicinity include Vault Cafe, The Fat Fish, Easy Creole, and Rasa Caffe.

Oaklandside Nosh reports that longtime neighborhood residents Teresa Clarke, David Soffa, Madeleine Clarke, and Chef Rose Soffa Clarke are the co-owners behind the concept.

The menu has not been announced yet but, according to Oaklandside Nosh, diners can likely expect seasonal food and cocktails. The outlet shares that renovations to the building will include “lifting the ceiling, [and] adding windows and a kitchen” before opening the restaurant in the summer of 2023.

What Now San Francisco briefly spoke to David Soffa, but he was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.
