According to a recently submitted license application, a new eatery, Townes, plans to debut in Santa Rosa.

Coming to 610 3rd Street, the concept will take over a space formerly home to Third Street Aleworks — a large brewpub with an outdoor patio known for its award-winning beers.

“We have been through some negotiations, but with our lease set to expire in 2023, we have made the decision to cease our food and pub operations upon its expiration. This was a decision we hoped we would never have to make, but it has been on the horizon for quite some time,” Third Street shared on Facebook in November 2022.

Following through on the statement, Third Street moved its operations to Rohnert Park earlier this year, leaving the Santa Rosa Facility available for a new tenant.

Some notable establishments in the vicinity include Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen, La Fondita, and Mac’s.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the Townes owner to inquire about the eatery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
