Bay Area-based business Butter Pecan Bakeshop is expanding — planning to debut a new outpost in Pleasant Hill.

Taking over Suite 2370 at 2360 Monument Boulevard — joining the Crossroads Shopping Center — the bakery will land near establishments such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dollar Tree, and DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse.

Owner Wendell Hunter tells What Now San Francisco that he’s looking forward to serving Butter Pecan’s “buttery, delicious” cookies to his Pleasant Hill customers on their turf.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, Hunter founded Butter Pecan three years ago during the pandemic. There are currently two locations — one in Emeryville and another in Pinole — and the business offers its cookies for takeout as well as delivery.

Hunter shares that Butter Pecan Bakeshop in Pleasant Hill is slated to open before summer. Follow the business on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
