According to a recently submitted permit application, a new Italian eatery, Bettola, is debuting in Inner Richmond.

Taking over a spot at 343 Clement Street, the concept will land near establishments such as Cajun House, Kitchen Istanbul, and Taqueria Los Mayas.

“Step into Bettola, where the spirit of Italy comes alive. Savor flavorful fare at the casual eatery, indulge in fresh seasonal specialties at the deli counter, or browse authentic Italian groceries. From rotisserie chickens to cured meats and imported cheeses, Bettola offers a delightful taste of Italy for every occasion,” the eatery shares in a brief introduction.

What Now San Francisco contacted the eatery’s Co-owner, Giovanni Legrottaglie, to inquire about the concept, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
