According to a recently submitted permit application, Oakland’s Pizzeria Violeta plans on debuting a new outpost in the city.

Coming to 1640 18th Street, Suite B, the eatery will land near establishments such as the historical landmark American Steel, Kilovolt Coffee, and the West Oakland Farmer’s Market.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Jonathan Ruppert, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the pizzeria, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Pizzeria Violetta is the passion project of Jonathan and Sarah, named in honor of their daughter Violet. With the birth of their daughter, Jonathan and Sarah thought it was time to slow down and focus on what is important. Pizzeria Violetta is a place that brings people together around a shared love of family and pizza.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Pizzeria Violeta on Facebook for updates.
