California based fast casual chain, The Stand, is opening its first interstate location later this year in the Woodlands. This new restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the Lakes Edge II property at 2000 Hughes Landing Boulevard Suite F-700. The restaurant will be a franchise property for Houston based Triple Tap Ventures. Triple Tap owner, Neil Billingsley-Michaelsen is listed as the tenant.
The Stand’s menu offers burgers, sandwiches, fries, salads, hot dogs, wraps, vegetables, plant-based proteins, milkshakes, craft beer, and wine. According to Triple Tap Venture’s website, “The Stand is a Southern California-based fast casual concept with one of the most diverse menus in the fast-casual category – the perfect fit for expanding to Texas.”
Blending upscale modern flavors with a casual dining format, the Howard Hughes Corporation first opened the Stand in Southern California in 2003. The chain currently has 12 locations across So Cal, with two more locations to be added soon. No word has been announced yet on whether any additional locations will be added in Texas.
