It appears as though a convenient and nutritious food option is making its way into Houston. Salad and Go is expected to open in new construction at Chimney Rock Rd. and Richmond Ave. sometime in early 2023, according to state licensing information.

The Arizona-based chain began expanding into Texas last year and has another location planned for the Greater Houston area. What Now Houston previously reported the area’s first Salad and Go will open in the Waterview Town Center shopping complex near Richmond in late summer 2022.

The drive-thru only restaurant offers a variety of healthy options from soups and salads to wraps and breakfast burritos. Customers can also choose from several flavors of lemonades, teas, and cold brews.

According to the brand’s website, the Salad and Go mission is “to make fresh, nutritious food convenient and affordable for ALL.”

The newly planned Houston location is expected to open at 5440 Richmond Ave.
