Magnolia is about to get a whole lot sweeter with the opening of Mochi Mochi Chillin, an innovative dessert haven brought to life by Co-owner Quay Ly and his wife. Set to open at 28910 Hardin Store Rd, this new dessert shop promises to redefine local dessert offerings with its unique blend of Asian-inspired treats and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

Driven by a desire for creative freedom and a passion for innovative flavors, Quay and his wife decided to launch Mochi Mochi Chillin to bring their vision of Asian desserts to life. They wanted to create something that’s not just a business, but a place where people can experience the joy of unique flavors and textures. The shop will feature a variety of Asian desserts, with their mochi donuts expected to be the hottest items, surpassing even their delectable homemade ice cream.

In addition to their signature mochi donuts, Mochi Mochi Chillin will offer a delightful range of Korean corn dogs, homemade ice cream infused with Asian flavors, and an impressive selection of beverages. Patrons can look forward to choosing from 15 different iced tea flavors and a variety of coffee drinks, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Currently there is no website, but future fans can follow along on their journey through the brand’s Facebook page.

Quay, who also works in construction, has meticulously planned every detail of the shop’s interior, aiming for a cozy yet modern aesthetic that will make visitors feel right at home. With an opening date set for no later than sometime in June 2024, Mochi Mochi Chillin is poised to become Magnolia’s go-to spot for a sweet escape.
