Teaspoon, the esteemed boba drink shop hailing from Los Altos, California, is set to make its grand entrance into Houston with a new franchised location at 6710 Spring Stuebner Rd Building H, Spring, TX 77389. Co-Franchisees Aizhan Abzalova and her husband are bringing the beloved brand to the Grand Parkway Marketplace. This will mark its second location in Texas and first in Houston, according to Abzalova.

Known for its innovative approach to boba, Teaspoon has carved a niche by blending traditional boba culture with classic American flavors. The result is a constantly evolving menu that offers a new favorite drink each season. “In our kitchens, Teaspoon’s research and development team cooks up new ideas every day,” said Abzalova. “We look to traditional boba culture and pair it with classic American flavors for drinks you can’t find anywhere else.”

For Abzalova and her husband, boba is more than just a beverage. “To us, boba is more than just a drink; it’s an opportunity to sit back and slow down, a reminder to enjoy the small and simple things in life,” she explained. Their goal is to create a space where customers can delight in handcrafted tea and premium boba, inspired by life’s moments and shared experiences.

Abzalova, who previously worked as a Marketing Coordinator with Marriott International and is now a substitute teacher, and her husband, along with their four kids, are thrilled to introduce Houstonians to Teaspoon. “We are very excited to bring (we call it MVB) Most Valuable BOBA from Los Altos, CA to HTX,” said Abzalova.

What sets Teaspoon apart from other boba tea offerings in Houston is its commitment to quality. The teas are freshly brewed, creating a unique taste that stands out in the bustling boba market. The variety of drinks offered, including seasonal favorites and innovative flavors, can be explored on the Teaspoon App, available for download on the App Store.

With a passion for handcrafted beverages and a dedication to creating a welcoming space, Teaspoon’s newest location is poised to become a beloved spot for Houstonians to connect, relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, one boba drink at a time. Future fans should expect doors their doors to open in Quarter 4 of 2024.
