Da Gemi Italian Restaurant to Open—Finally—In Chinatown

After traveling a very long road, Da Gemi is getting ready to offer Vegas its unique Sicilian cuisine

Originally aiming for an opening last year, and then for spring of this year, Da Gemi Italian Restaurant + Putia is finally gearing up to open at 3516 Wynn Rd, on the southeast corner of the intersection with W Spring Mountain Rd.

What Now confirmed the news with co-owner James Muscaglione on Wednesday. Muscaglione declined to comment at this time.

Da Gemi’s menu begins with appetizers like Eggplant Involtini fried with ricotta, spices, and San Marzano and Baked Clams with breadcrumbs, garlic, and peppers. From there we move on to pasta dishes, which include Bucatini di Campagna with pancetta, onion, and chili and Penne Carrettiera with pecorino, garlic, fresh tomato, and basil.

The menu’s entrées include Sausage Busambra grilled over Cavuliceddi amari; Shrimp “Scampi” with Rice, sauteed with garlic, breadcrumbs, and spices; and Pork Milanese with Arugala.

The location is part of The Center at Spring Mountain, a large retail center in Chinatown that is also home to eateries like Pho Kim Long, The Golden Tikki, and Shokku Ramen. Keep an eye out for Da Gemi’s unique Sicilian cuisine coming soon to Chinatown Las Vegas.
