The northeast corner of the intersection between South Topaz Road and East Flamingo Road will soon be home to Ambiente Cantina & Grill. The restaurant seems to be gearing up to open in the space formerly occupied by La Casona Bar & Grill, at 2600 E Flamingo Road, according to licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County.
Details are scarce about the new brand. La Casona offered a selection of scrumptious-sounding dishes like Piña La Casona (pineapple stuffed with shrimp and octopus simmered in a coconut vegetable sauce, topped with cheese) and Camarones Tamarindo (Shrimp simmered in a homemade tamarind sauce, served with rice and bean). It remains to be seen what Ambiente Cantina & Grill will bring to the table.
The location is one of several eateries along either side of East Flamingo Road between South Eastern Avenue and McCleod Drive. These include Los Cedros Mexican Restaurant, Magoo’s, and American Gypsy Café.
What Now reached out to a representative of the restaurant on Friday. That representative was not immediately available for comment. No opening date has been announced for Ambiente Cantina & Grill, but stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available about this brand’s Las Vegas debut.
