The Zip brand, after the Korean word for “house” or “home” (집), began with Zip Korean BBQ in Tustin, California. The brand has since launched Zip Tofu and Grill (whose salad is pictured above) in Chinatown here in Las Vegas, at 5740 W Spring Mountain Road. It is now looking to expand with another new concept.
Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar, which will offer a different menu but the same “home”-inspired customer service, will open at the Boulevard Mall, at 3528 S Maryland Parkway.
“Zip is not just focused on a specific menu,” a Zip representative told What Now in an email conversation on Thursday. “We have Zip Korean BBQ, which is an all-you-can-eat BBQ, where customers can experience a table full of traditional Korean side dishes and an open grill, where they can cook their own meats and enjoy the flavors of Korean style cuisine. Zip Tofu and Grill focuses on tofu soup along with other Korean dishes such as grilled meats, fish, and side dishes. Currently, we are in the process of opening Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar, which will be a noodle house with an Asian-Fusion theme.”
At the Boulevard Mall, Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar will be part of a highly developed culinary community that includes restaurants like Primal Steakhouse, Viva Cafe, Just Crack ‘N Seafood, and P-Dub’s BBQ.
“At each Zip location, our number one priority is customer service,” the representative said. “We want to share the wonderful dishes of Korean fusion for our customers as well as provide a friendly, warming atmosphere to those who try our cuisine. We take all reviews seriously and train our staff on how to provide an even better experience than before. We appreciate all our customers and we are thankful for their ongoing support.”
