Spectra Global Cuisine is planning on a busy year. The restaurant group, which began with several restaurants in California, has been making inroads into Las Vegas with brands like Zip Tofu & Grill and Zip Pan-Asian Noodle Bar & Grill. Its California brands also include Zip Korean AYCE BBQ, and, starting this year, Kitchen of Korea.
“At Kitchen of Korea, we are pleased to present our guests to an amazing experience they will truly remember, whether from our boundless menu options consisting of freshly prepared meats, seafood, and vegetables, to our refreshing and traditional Korean ban-chan (side-dishes) or excitement of sizzling & grilling right front you with your friends and families,” reads copy on the Spectra Global Cuisine website.
Beyond these details, it is not yet known what the Kitchen of Korea menu will consist of. As a steakhouse, it will differ from the Spectra’s Zip barbecue concept, but it sounds like it will share the in-table barbecues. Zip Korean BBQ menu features a range of protein choices, including La Beef Short Ribs, Pork Belly, Beef Tongue, Beef Sirloin, Spicy Chicken, and more.
The first Kitchen of Korea location is expected to open in Torrance, California, in Q1 2023; the second is expected in Irvine, California, this fall; and—finally—the third is headed to Las Vegas, this winter.
