Longtime Las Vegas favorite Farm Basket once had locations all over the city, but when it fell on hard times, the brand shrank down to a single restaurant. That location was sold by Steve Perrault to William Bayne, Steve Cook, and Kerry Walters back in 2018, and the brand’s new owners have been working on a comeback for this legacy Vegas brand.

The comeback started with a second Farm Basket location, which opened early last year at Winterwood Pavilion, at 2350 S Nellis Blvd. A third Farm Basket is now on the way, preparing for a February opening according to recent coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. It will open at 9435 S Rainbow Boulevard.

With Farm Basket, the name of the game is poultry: namely, chicken and turkey. The brand’s menu is built around two sandwiches—the Clucker Sandwich, with fried chicken, and the Gobbler Sandwich, with fried turkey—plus chicken-stuffed tacos called Clucketos. The menu also features meals like Chicken and Waffles and the Turkey Steak Dinner, along with several fried chicken combos.

What Now reached out on Friday to Josh Thomas, the owner of the Rainbow Boulevard location, to inquire about plans for the opening. Thomas was not immediately available for comment.
