After making a big splash with its arrival in Las Vegas at the very end of 2021, California-born Filipino restaurant chain The Noypitz Bar & Grill is planning to expand to a second location in Vegas. Licensing paperwork was submitted recently to the City of Las Vegas for a Noypitz location at 1617 S Decatur Boulevard.
The Noypitz’s menu has featured popular items like Kare-kare, a dish featuring beef and a thick peanut sauce; Chicken Adobo; Pork BBQ; and Sweet-Sour Red Snapper. The restaurant was founded by owners Larry Calonzo and Michael Kwan.
What Now reached out to Larry Calonzo on Tuesday to ask about the opening. Calonzo said it’s still too early to share details about the new location. Calonzo has not confirmed the address listed on the submitted paperwork.
Opening on Decatur near the intersection with West Oakey Boulevard, the new Noypitz would be part of a hospitality community that includes Taqueria La Casa de Pastor and a Jackpot Joanie’s Casino nearby.
