Taco John’s Opening a New Location in Dayton Next Year

The fast food chain serves tacos in a variety of proteins including beef and chicken, along with burritos and the chain eatery’s signature potato dish, called potato olés.

According to recent reporting, Taco John’s is opening a new eatery at 5858 N Springboro Pike in Dayton. The taco fast food chain currently has four locations in Ohio, all of which are located near the Dayton and Columbus areas, and the forthcoming eatery will be the first Taco John’s located within Dayton proper.

Taco John’s Ohio locations are owned and operated by restaurant group Meritage Hospitality Group, who have set the timeline for opening the new location as fall 2024, according to the recent article.  

Menu options at Taco John’s includes tacos in a variety of proteins including beef and chicken, along with burritos and the chain eatery’s signature potato dish, potato olés, which are bite-sized, disc shaped fried hash browns. Customers can order their potato olés plain or loaded up nacho style with ground beef, beans, cheese, guacamole, tomatoes and sour cream.
