Kori’s Cafe is set to open its doors soon in Milwaukie, located at 10675 SE 42nd Avenue, confirmed by the co-owner and manager, Ortice Harper.
“Our hope is to be able to open sometime in August for our grand opening, but we are currently waiting until we are fully licensed and operational,” Ortice told What Now Portland.
“Kori’s Cafe will be inside our martial arts center, No Limit Pro Karate, where the lobby used to be. The inception of Kori’s Cafe stems from and for my daughter. Eight months ago, Kori, who is currently a senior in high school, and I, were having a conversation as she contemplated her plans after graduation. As she is a dedicated volleyball player and has a scholarship to college to pursue this, this cafe is and was for her.”
The cafe’s menu will be offering all ranges of coffee, with breakfast food options as well. Some of these options include breakfast burritos, bagels, scrambles, and more.
This martial arts center has garnered recognition for its innovative approach to promoting overall wellness. Going beyond conventional exercise, No Limit Pro Karate emphasizes the importance of mental health alongside physical fitness. Their philosophy is rooted in the belief that true well-being can only be achieved by nurturing both aspects of an individual’s life, according to the company website.
