According to a recent permit filing, Grains of Wrath Brewing will be opening another location in Washougal at 4035 Grant St STE 110.
“This location should be open for production by April 1 – potentially sooner. This location will not have a public taproom/restaurant attached to it, yet. It is something we are considering for phase two.”
“In the meantime, it will be production only to better serve the bars & restaurants that have supported us the last six years as well as those in the markets we are expanding to throughout Oregon & Washington,” owner and operating manager Brendan Greenen told What Now Portland.
“Grains of Wrath opened in Camas nearly 6 years ago (March 7th, 2018) with the intent of creating world-class beer and a fun, inviting, and quality pub experience. We have become a cornerstone of the Downtown Camas Restaurant scene and a pivotal part of the continued revitalization of our small town.”
“In the last 6 years, we have been awarded 64 medals and awards in competitions at the state, regional, country, and global level, 24 of which just last year. As we continue to put out the highest quality product, we continue to steadily supply and grow our presence in our current markets as well as plan to expand to new markets with increased production that the Washougal facility will provide.”
Grains of Wrath’s company website tells customers more about the company’s history, stating, “Spawned from good ol’ fashioned working-human punk rock, our great moody PNW home and anyone desirous of a brew that flies true and unrelenting in the face of boring, our culture is simple: making damn good beer with the best people we can find, for our community to not just enjoy, but thrive.”
“Trends may come and go, though by focusing on beers built decidedly from the grain up to inspire our community just as much as they inspire us, we’ve been able to do some great things together, and keep at it for the long haul.”
