According to a recent permit filing, Rib City 29 Pub will soon open in the Parkrose area at 11807 NE Sandy Boulevard.
“Our goal is to be open by mid-March and hope that everything goes right! Our concept is a BBQ sports bar restaurant that will be serving beer on tap as well as bottled beers, liquor alcohol drinks, ciders, wine, sodas, cocktails, mixed drinks, happy hour specials, etc.,” owner Timothy Cobb told What Now Portland.
“Our ridiculous food menu will be packed with some of the most delicious mastered smoked beef briskets, smoked St Louis spare ribs, smoked pulled pork, smoked chicken, and smoked hot links.”
“Additionally, there will be homemade sides such as my famous barbecue beans and sausage, mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, potato salad, peach cobbler, apple pie, and sweet potato pies, all built from scratch for dessert. We’re the best in the state of Oregon!”
“I started 15 years ago working on mastering my craft and the art of smoking meat with fruitwood apple, peach, cherry, pecan, and hickory. My mission is to bring delicious food, great customer service, flavorful drinks, and a lot of happy faces to this community,” Cobb told What Now Portland.
According to the permit filing, Rib City 29 Pub has planned for the operating hours to be every day from 7:30 AM to 2:30 AM. This will also apply to the outdoor operating hours, with food and alcohol service options included.
