The exploding and contemporary convenience store chain Foxtrot Market has recently filed to open another store in Austin, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. This store will be in a key downtown location, occupying a 2,508 square foot suite at 301 W. 2nd Street, more commonly known as Austin City Hall.
What Now Austin briefly contacted Amanda Hill-Bustillos, Director of New Store Openings, to inquire about potential opening dates and further detail, but she was not immediately available for comment.
Branding itself as a type of curatorial market, choosing the best of each product category in order to provide customers with a streamlined selection of high-quality products, Foxtrot finds itself in a unique and thriving position among brick & mortar food stores. Much like the gas-station style-model the chain seems to emulate, the chain serves simple food and beverage in-house such as breakfast tacos, bagels, smoothies, fresh fruit and coffee. Pre-made options such as wraps, salads, and sandwiches are also available for customers.
What Now Austin recently reported on another planned Austin location on Burnet Road. The downtown and Burnet Rd locations will be Foxtrot’s very first stores in the capital of Texas.
