The locally-owned and operated burger restaurant Buddy’s Burgers will soon be opening its second location ever in Round Rock, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be located at 1551 Old Settlers Blvd Building Two, in a suburban area relatively unpopulated by restaurants.
According to the listing, the restaurant will cost an estimated $300,000 to construct and cover around 3,100 square feet of space, on top of featuring drive-thru capabilities.
When asked about Buddy’s Burgers’ servings, partner Saad Fadai tells What Now Austin “Our menu is pretty simple, we have fresh burgers, made-to-order. We squeeze our lemonade daily, make our sauces in house, our seasonings are made in house.”
Explaining why this area of Round Rock seemed ideal for Mr. Fadai and his partners, he explains, “We saw that there weren’t a lot of fresh, healthy food options and we thought that this would be a good area to be in and felt that the demographics backed our bet.”
While no opening date has yet been set, readers and partners can expect the restaurant to be up and running sometime in the first two quarters of 2023.
