Cold Fish, a “modern and traditional” Japanese restaurant, as described by Peter Kim, will be debuting in downtown Round Rock, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 118 E Main Street, near downtown staples such as Palermo Pasta House and The Rock.

“I think it’s a good location,” says owner Peter Kim. “A lot of people—many of my old customers from my first restaurant—are waiting for me to open.”

While Mr. Kim did not provide more detail about the restaurant’s culinary profile beyond “modern and traditional”, he did make one claim sure to pique interest in the eatery.

“There’s going to be totally unique dishes in this restaurant that can’t be found elsewhere in the USA.”

And so when can local readers anticipate to have this one-of-a-kind culinary experience?

“Right now we are doing construction, starting on June first.” says Kim. “If I’m lucky, we’ll be open by September at the earliest. But if not, December.”
