The growing healthy fast-casual chain Salad & Go is moving into San Marcos, according to recent public records. The store will be located within a new standalone construction at 200 IH 35 S.

Public records examined by What Now Austin state that the $300,000 construction job will begin in February 2024 and end sometime in May.

“Salad and Go is on a mission to make fresh, nutritious food convenient and affordable for all,” the official website states.

Salad & Go’s simple menu consists largely of salads and wraps inspired by a range of international cuisines — customers may choose greek, italian, or thai-inspired salads, for example, with either tofu or chicken as the protein base.

Unlike many salad-based chain, Salad & Go offers hot breakfast — burritos and bowls — along with cold brew and “house-made” lemonade.
