Growing national donut chain The Salty Donut will soon begin building up an Austin location at 11501 Rock Rose Ave, according to recent public records.

Construction notes reveal that the development will consist of “interior renovation of a 971 SF new donut cafe in an existing building. Work to include: interior demolition, new non-load bearing partition walls, new accessible restroom, new interior finishes throughout space, MEP modifications.”

“At ‘The Salty’, we believe in the transformative power of a really freakin’ good donut, baked goods and a perfectly crafted coffee,” says the Salty website’s About page.

“We strive to tell stories through our ever-changing menus of new flavors and weave ourselves into the fabric of the neighborhoods we’re in to create spaces for the community to gather and positively impact those around us. Simply put, we like to make people feel good.”
