Ants Beer Cave, a new concept, is soon coming to 440 E St Elmo, according to recent public records.

“We’re changing the space from a warehouse to a bar, food truck, and pickleball court,” owner Anthony Capanna tells What Now Austin.

“For food services, we’ll do pizzas, starting off with a New York Style pizza. That will be part of our establishment, but we’ll have enough space to integrate third-party food trucks and vendors,” he explains.

“It’s also a bottle shop—similar to the beverage displays in a gas station or grocery store—except we’ll have over 250 types of beer available for on-premise consumption.”

So when will it open?

“Once we get the permits, we’ll be able to move pretty quickly; we are hoping to open early June.”
