It all began with a hot dog stand called “The Dog House” in 1963 and now the Chicago-based hot dog and burger brand is opening its first ever store in Orlando. Portillo’s is set to open on 7715 Palm Parkway in The Village on June 15th.

“It’s not a real trip to Chicago unless you eat at Portillo’s,” according to their website and now the brand synonymous with The Windy City is coming to the Sunshine State. With over 60 locations across the country, it’s about time Orlando got a taste of Chicago’s best.

Known for their “Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, chopped salad, cheese fries, homemade chocolate cake, and chocolate cake shake,” Portillo’s serves true comfort to its customers.

The new location in Orlando is set to be 7,800-square-feet within the O-Town West complex among other fast-food restaurants and small businesses.
