Mayweather Boxing & Fitness, the high intensity workout developed by former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., is coming to the Shoppes at Aloma Walk in Oviedo. The 2,400 square-foot franchise will be located at 2871 Clayton Crossing Way.

Combining boxing, strength, and cardio conditioning intervals, Mayweather’s promotional materials tout the workout for everyone from former athletes and young professionals to stay-at-home parents and retirees.

Mayweather’s 45-minute workouts incorporate state of the art boxing and functional fitness equipment. Members can choose from classes like Box Circuit HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). With a focus on speed, agility, and cardio conditioning, members rotate through eight stations of boxing and fitness intervals, burning up to 700 calories per workout. For the aspiring boxer, Floyd’s Bagwork class covers fundamental boxing technique, conditioning, and core exercises.

According to Franchisee Lisa Brodsky, the Oviedo location will begin membership presales in early October 2021 with an expected opening of early January 2022. Mayweather Boxing franchise opportunities are available across the country.
