According to a plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Mac & Whitney Brewing is headed to the Mount Dora area soon.
On Monday, What Now Orlando connected with co-owner Julian MacGowan to confirm details. The brewery is in the construction phase, and MacGowan estimates that they will open in a month or two, depending on how quickly the building-out and licensing come along.
Per the plan review, we can expect to find the new brewery at 3400 North Highway 19A. At this location, Mac & Whitney Brewing will be just down the road from King’s Donunts and Deli and the Dora Café.
According to MacGowan, this is his first venture into owning a brewery. The Division of Corporations reports that he has partnered with Russell Whitney to bring the project to fruition. The two business partner’s last names seem to be the namesake of the brewery.
As of now, the business has not launched a website or social media.
