Lookout for the sandwich shop to open at 35902 US-27 in a strip development. The unit will near other chain eateries like Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Jean Charles reports that he is planning to open the doors in either late July or early August.

During our phone interview, Jean Charles explained why he’s bringing Firehouse Subs to the area: “I just feel like Haines City needs something new… something they don’t have. I think it’s going to be very beneficial to the area.”

The brand, which has more than 1,200 locations around the globe, began when brothers Chris and Robin Sorenson decided to incorporate their family history of police and fire service into serving delicious sandwiches. You can read more about their storied history here
