Glory Days Grill Headed to Winter Haven

Family sports bar opening in Central Florida this summer.

The Virginia-native Glory Days Grill chain is planting a location in Polk County. On Tuesday, What Now confirmed with Jesse McPherson of MVP Holdings to get more details. 

The new restaurant will open at 6005 Cypress Gardens Blvd, according to plan review filings. Between Lake Dexter and Lake Eloise, Glory Days will near Subway, Hibachi Express, China Garden and the Lego Land Resort. 

McPherson, owner of this location, commented that the new sports bar should be open by late June. More information at this time is limited. McPherson requested we speak to an official spokesperson for more details, and What Now is still waiting for a response. 

The brand was founded in Burke, Virginia by Jeff Newman, Richard Danker and Robert Garner. The trio sought to establish a neighborhood restaurant that emphasized sports and delicious food. Since its inception in 1996, the brand has grown to more than 40 locations up and down the East Coast.
