A new breakfast and brunch joint is coming to the area. What Now Orlando recently connected with co-owner Frances Palermo to get the details.
Sorrel Bistro is planned to open at 1560 Town Center Drive, in the Lakeside Village shopping mall. It will neighbor other restaurants like, Crispers, Saigon Bakery and Yogurt Mountain. According to a report from Lakeland Now, the hours will be 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
Along with her business partner Lisandra Bezares, Palermo will serve gourmet breakfast and brunch foods with a Caribbean twist. Palermo says they decided to open the concept because of an apparent lack in breakfast and brunch options in the area.
They are hoping to secure a contractor to get the inside of their space built-out, and they expect to open sometime in August. Palermo and Bezares will hire fifteen employees to run the restaurant.
