The nationwide brand from Darden Restaurants is looking to set up shop in the Central Florida-area. What Now Orlando on Friday came across filings with the city for the new unit.
The location for the new LongHorn Steakhouse will be 17020 US-441, according to the official city website. At this location, the new steakhouse will neighbor other restaurants, like Perkins Bakery & Restaurant, Marco’s Pizza and Panera Bread.
When this unit is projected to open isn’t exactly known, as it is early in the planning stages. As seen on the city website, the plans are still under review, and construction is planned to begin in 2023. It will occur on a 1.93 acre site area.
LongHorn Steakhouse is a brand that is part of Darden Restaurants, a restaurant group known for numerous known franchises in America: Olive Garden, Season’s 52 and Capital Grill. The group has a total of 1,800 restaurants open with around 160,000 employees.
