Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar will be opening in Orlando at 9344 N Narcoossee Rd. sometime in late September. What Now Orlando spoke with owner Florencio Rodriguez over the phone for more information about the new restaurant. Rodriguez describes himself as a “third-generation restauranter.” He owns four Don Julio Mexican Kitchen locations around Florida, along with a restaurant called Hot Taco Street Taqueria.

Rodriguez says that the location will offer “authentic Peruvian cuisine.” He believes that one of the most popular dishes will be the ceviche seafood plates, which is a traditional dish from Peru. He says that Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar will be “the first upscale Peruvian restaurant with a food bar [that has] the traditional Pisco cocktail drink.”

There will be a variety of the Pisco cocktail drinks along with a selection of wines and cocktail drinks at the bar. Rodriguez wants customers to know that they will “be open late on the weekends” for their “late night lounge.”

Rodriguez says that the building is currently under construction and that he will begin to hire staff in mid-August. If everything goes as planned, he believes that the restaurant will open in late September. For more information about Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar, visit their website, Instagram and Facebook accounts.
