That Place Eustis, a locally-owned and operated sports bar and restaurant, will soon be opening in Eustis, according to a recent plan review with the State of Florida and confirmed by owner Randy Connor. The restaurant will be located at 925 N Bay St, Unit 7, next to Thai restaurant Aloy Dee Thai Restaurant.

Mr. Connor tells What Now Orlando that the sports bar will serve primarily grilled foods such as hamburgers and chicken, and is aiming to strike a balance between a sports bar and family environment.

Mr. Connor is also the owner of Crazy Gator, a lakeside eatery serving wings and seafood, just down the road at 402 N Bay St, also in Eustis. When asked what he excites him most about the upcoming restaurant, Mr. Connor says, “Eustis is growing and I’m excited to grow with Eustis.”

Mr. Connor expects That Place to be open by the beginning of November.
