19th Hole Virtual Golf Bar and Grill, a new eatertainment and sports bar concept, will soon be opening at 1103 21st Street in Vero Beach, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will occupy the space of the former Old Patio restaurant, next to Pizza Mia.

Owner Bob Gruber tells What Now Orlando “We’re going to have three full-sized, full-swing golf simulators as well as regular and upscale sports bar dining.”

Mr. Gruber explains that the entire building is around 5000 square feet and will be able to seat somewhere between 160 and 190 people. There will be two full-service bars—one inside, and one outside.

When asked to give details on the menu, Mr. Gruber says “We’ll be serving burgers, wings, sandwiches, with steak and fish on the menu also”

And what excites Mr. Gruber the most about this upcoming venture?

“I think the biggest thing is that we’re moving into the Old Patio restaurant in Vero Beach which has been a local staple since the 1930s. We’re going to do a total remodel and we’re going to have full-service dining. We have a big patio, with up to 40-50 seating.”

As the restaurant finalizes its installation of technology and other key renovations to the interior, Gruber and his team anticipate a grand opening in mid to late January 2023.
