The popular Puerto Rican food truck, Piñones en Orlando, will soon open its debut brick and mortar, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 1704 Woolco Way, near eateries such as Waffle House and NY Chinese.

When asked about the upcoming restaurants offerings and how it will compare to the original food truck, owner Jose Sanchez tells What Now Orlando “We will be adding various plates in this new location, but I’m not ready to disclose details.”

Elaborating on the offerings which are already known to the public and which could best represent the restaurant’s culinary profile, Mr. Sanchez says the fish and rice with fried plantains along with the fried food sampler are the best representations of his renderings of native Puerto Rico’s cuisine.

When asked about his rationale behind choosing the Woolco Way location, Mr. Sanchez says “The location is in a very international location and is near to a grocery store.”

Until Mr. Sanchez opens his door in early 2023, curious readers and partners can find the original food truck at 8650 E Colonial Drive.
