“We’re starting the new year off right!” The Marina Bay Boutique website announces, in reference to its upcoming café. “We are announcing the opening of Marina Bay & the Seafoam Cafe coming this March 2023! From Sandwiches to Salads, Flatbread pizzas to Air-Fried Wings we are so excited to serve you a taste of simple, clean, and delicious.”

As can be gleaned from the official announcement above, a new cafe will be opening within Marina Bay Boutique, located in Cocoa, on 217 King Street

Owner Madelynn Kennedy recently spoke to What Now Orlando, excited to elaborate on her latest venture.

“I’ve always wanted the café to be part of the boutique. Back in California, where I’m from, you would often find that boutiques and cafes shared the same space. We want to do just that—create an area where you can come hang out, have some coffee, do some shopping.”

Kennedy adds that around 80% of items in the boutique such as soap, candles, and jewelry are locally-made, many of them handmade.

“Any hot food we serve will be heated by using an air-fryer, helping people bring down their oil intake. We’ll also be making our own granola, and having grab-on-go options, charcuterie to-go, and other items for people to take home.”

Kennedy adds that the menu will be tweaked as the operation finds its bearings.

“Coming in the summer, we’ll have an açai menu.”

As for an opening date, Kennedy states “We’re hoping to be up and running on March 15, 2023, but this is depending on how licensing goes.”
