The nationally-expanding wine bar chain Sixty Vines will soon be opening an Orlando location at 7760 West Sand Lake Rd, according to public records. The establishment will neighbor eateries such as Seasons 52 and Boca’s Grill.

What Now Orlando recently spoke to Maddie Koelzer, Brand Manager, to get the full details on this unique new concept.

“We are a wine country-inspired restaurant and are best known for our ‘wine on tap’ concept,” Koelzer says. “Our menu is wine country-inspired food, based on wine regions from around the world, not just Italy and California. We have salads, pizzas, charcuterie boards, you name it.”

“Our wine-on-tap system is really unique because you get it straight from the keg—never exposed to light or oxygen, keeping the wine super fresh from the first pour, while also being the most sustainable way to store and serve the wine. We’re saving thousands of bottles of waste.”

When asked about the ambience and aesthetics, Koelzer describes a serene vibe.

“It’s a very comfortable atmosphere—wide plants, high ceilings, long community tables which emulate the wine country dining experience.”

And when can readers anticipate the location to be up and running?

“It’s a moving target due to permitting and other variables, but we are hoping to open in Q4 of this year.”

Until then, curious readers may visit the existing Sixty Vines location in Winter Park.
