Maxine’s, an independently owned and operated desserts establishment, will soon be coming to Sanford, according to recent public records. The eatery will be located at 2597 Sanford Avenue, near the Orlando-Sanford International Airport.
“We are waiting for DBPR’s inspection to obtain our license,” owner Nydsa Nazario tells What Now Orlando, explaining that her and her team are still in the permitting process.
Keeping most details confidential at this stage, Nazario does share that Maxine’s will be serving both ice cream and cupcakes, a unique combination of sweets, especially in sparser food & beverage landscape such as Sanford.
Readers who are curious about the Ms. Nazario’s experience at the helm of a desserts operation can refer to her existing venture Nydsa’s Sweet Creations, an independent venture that serves made-to-order cakes in a variety of styles and presentations.
