Big Taco, the new Tex-Mex concept by Brian Wheeler of Tijuana Flats, is already planning to expand beyond its upcoming Casselberry debut, according to a recent report in Orlando Business Journal.

In a recent interview with Brian’s son Jake Wheeler, Orlando Business Journal reports that “the goal is to have a second location in the Orlando area by the end of 2024. The company then would look to fill out Florida as it targets further expansion in the long-term, and as time progresses will consider whether it would begin franchising.”

Reporting on the menu, the Journal adds that the menu for the concept includes “tacos, tostada salad and special dishes like a chili-smothered burrito and chimichangas,” and that “the 2,000-square-foot restaurant will seat up to 65.”

While no timeframe or approximate location has been revealed for the second location, the first will be open by November 2023, according to the brand’s new website.
