Independent Indian Eatery Coming to Eustis Market

“Our menu will cover dishes from the whole subcontinent."

Awwal Curry House, new independent Indian cuisine venture, will soon come to Eustis Market at 24 East Magnolia Avenue, according to public records. 

“Our menu will cover dishes from the whole subcontinent,” co-owner Shabber Chowdhury tells What Now Orlando. “We’ll be able to seat around 42 people.” 

Mr. Chowdhury notes that while this will be the first restaurant he’s owned, he has worked as executive chef for local establishments such as Tabla. 

“I just want to bring Indian food to the area, I want to serve it in a new way.” 

While no opening date has been set, Mr. Chowdhury antiicpates to open sometime in December.
