Salted Fry, the popular Mount Dora gluten-free eatery, appears to be moving into 112 W Third Ave, according to a recent plan review filing. The restaurant would be replacing the former Edge on 3rd Coffee Shop.

“Fun food without the gluten worry!” the official website declares. “Delicious “Pommes Frites” Belgian-style fries, fresh-made dipping sauces, tasty 100% gluten free sandwiches, handcrafted sodas, Beer from Glutenberg Brewery, self serve wine stations ALL 100% Gluten free!”

Owner Dale Duffy was not immediately available to answer What Now Orlando’s regarding the nature of the development. Whether it is a relocation or a fully-operational second location, it certainly seems like an upgrade for Mr. Duffy and crew—the 3rd Ave address features a spacious outdoor patio and far roomier interior than the Dora Drawdy Way brick and mortar.

Readers unfamiliar with the concept can expect an impressive selection of (gluten free) sandwiches in a “casual upscale” atmosphere, such as BLT, Chicken Salad, Reuben and Cheesesteak, among others.

No opening date has been announced.
