Growing Mexican ice cream chain Morelia Gourmet Paletas will soon open an Orlando location at 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail, according to recent public records.

Unfamiliar readers should note that paletas are the Mexican equivalent to popsicles, often made with fresh and natural ingredients. What Morelia Gourmet Paletas brings to the table is a classic ice cream shop set-up where customers can immerse the paletas into dips and garnish them with varied toppings.

“After getting a constant smile from our judges for every flavor we had created, we decided to share our popsicles with the rest of the world,” the official website states.

“We agreed to start this trip in Miami because it is a city  of incredible cultural diversity, cradle of new trends and incredible weather all year round. We opened our first location in Coral Gables in October 2016, and we are committed to bringing the best ice cream experience to more parts of the world.”

No opening date has been announced.
