Popular Eustis concept All Mac Matters will soon be moving its concept into Deland as Comfort Cafe, according to recent public records.

“We’re expanding our existing concept,” co-owner Jonathan Hunt tells What Now Orlando. “It will be our first full location.”

“We do global fusion mac and cheese, but at this location we’ll do more than that,” Mr. Hunt says when asked whether the establishment will change in menu and concept.

Mr. Hunt explains that classic dishes such as the Caribbean Mac—jicama slaw, cilantro crema, and jerk chicken—will remain, and new rice bowls, wraps, and salads are on the way.

When asked why the team chose Deland as the new location’s home, Hunt points to its proximity home.

“We live in Volusia County, so that location works really well for us.”

Having just signed the lease, Hunt and the team are looking at a timeline of around three months before Comfort Cafe makes its debut.
