Mandola’s Italian Kitchen, the pasta and pizza concept found in Texas and Florida, is preparing to open a new location in Maitland at 501-701 Maitland Blvd.
“Mandola’s proposes to build a 4,800-square-foot restaurant at Trelago Market on Maitland Boulevard. Menus for the Florida-based locations include items like lobster ravioli, chicken capricciosa, beef brasato and lots of other Italian favorites,” a recent GGO report states.
According to a recent What Now interview with Director of Operations Dan Rainville, this site was selected on basis of its “income and demographics and future growth of that area.”
“It all started in 1975 at a little restaurant in Huntsville, Texas. My Mamma Grace came & brought her recipes to help us get started,” the official website states.
“The same we still use today. Over the last several decades, I have met entertainers, politicians, movie stars, & sports figures. But the greatest folks I have met are the patrons that graced my door day in & day out. They were there to have great Italian food & warm Italian hospitality. I could not think of any career that could have been more fulfilling.”
No opening date has been announced.
