Popular food truck Hot Asian Buns will soon open a Sanford location at 204 S Sanford Avenue, according to recent public records.
“They are part of the renovation currently taking place in the new West End Trading Co. entertainment complex which will include a new courtyard where Luisa’s Cellar used to be with outside seating, music stages, outdoor bars and multiple new food concepts,” states a 2022 statement by Historic Downtown Sanford.
Known for their “Handmade bao buns from scratch”, Hot Asian Buns specializes in several styles of bao, rice bowls, and kimchi fries. It is not immediately clear how the menu will change at the brick and mortar location.
No opening date has been announced.
