Darden’s American scratch kitchen concept will soon open a Casselberry location at 4135 S US Hwy 17-92 according to recent public records.
Corroborating this information, OBJ reports that “A major site plan request was approved by Casselberry’s Planning & Zoning Commission on April 10, clearing the way for the restaurant to rise on a 2.5-acre property at the intersection of U.S. Highway 17-92 and Concord Drive, on the west shore of Lake Concord.”
“Plans filed reflected a 6,214-square-foot building in the works for the Darden Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: DRI) brand, known for its scratch-made American cuisine such as ribs and chicken tenders.”
“If built, the location would join eight existing Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen restaurants in the Orlando Business Journal’s coverage area. These include three restaurants in Orlando, on International Drive, Semoran Boulevard and East Colonial Drive, near UCF; two locations in Kissimmee, in The Loop and in the West 192 area near Four Corners; one restaurant in Sanford; and restaurants on the coast in Daytona Beach and West Melbourne.”
